The Chart Index is a public record of what the most-starred Helm charts on Artifact Hub deploy when rendered with their default values: the container images behind each chart, the known vulnerabilities in those images, a Radar Score per chart and per image, and a daily history of that score from the day the index started. It covers public charts and public registries only, and every page states the sources and the dates its numbers come from. The methodology says how each number is produced.

It is built and run by StackRadar, whose product scans the containers running in a Kubernetes cluster and matches them against the same advisory data with the same matcher and the same score. The index is a separate site with its own database. It holds no data about StackRadar’s users, and nothing about them enters the selection of charts or the numbers shown.

It is free and needs no account because the data in it is public — the charts, the images and the advisories are all published by others, and the index adds the rendering, the matching and the history. The cost of running it is the cost of a daily pipeline. The site links to the product in two places and nowhere else. Corrections go to contact@stackradar.io.
